About CTA
The Climate Transformation Alliance (CTA) is a regional public-private partnership of local governments, special districts, community organizations, businesses, and individuals committed to collaboration, innovation, and accountability through a governing body and shared vision for the North Tahoe-Truckee community to achieve carbon neutrality* by 2045.
The CTA is committed to the development of local policy and initiatives that will promote the resilience of the community, recognizing that more can be achieved together.
* Carbon Neutrality is achieved by reducing emissions from the built environment (e.g., transportation, building energy, landfills) as much as possible, with remaining emissions sequestered and stored in natural and working lands, resulting in a zeroed-out carbon balance sheet.
